It was an ancient blue clay mine, rediscovered centuries later and may or may not have been used to stash goods and wealth.. but it's long removed. The jewelry shown @ 3:19 appears to have both a "serpent" and a "thistle" symbol just left of the purple stone. In Celtic symbolism the thistle(purple) represents nobility and graciousness. It became the emblem of Scotland in the 1200s. The thistle also appears on the old Nova Scotia Coat of Arms. Finding Coins Jewellery a few inches under the surface, proves people were on the Island, finding the same 100 feet underground is a totally different scenario.

I’m curious how many coins they’d find on any other random island
