How could you not mention burning down the thorns to get the Great Flame Blade? Takes only 1 minute and you literally pass right by it. You even looked at it and didn't say anything lol

Behind that metal box is a chest with a core in it.
theres a great flame sword once u get rid of the torns that stuck on the wall. climb up and follow the path to it.
