And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    Isaiah 64: 6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
    Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    John 14: 6

    Romans 10: 9-10.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    Jesus said John 5: 24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
    1John 5: 10-13
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  2. Wait, so let me get this straight, Australia wants a cut from facebook news display, and Facebook thinks it is stupid, so they just don't display news in Australia, and Australia has a problem with it?????

  3. I’m ok to loose FB. It’s not social media in the same way that banks aren’t charitable institutions. Life is better without FB.

  4. Fancy! A pimply faced kid telling a sovereign government what to do! Let us boycott Facebook! After all they were not innocent parties in the recent US Insurrection!

  5. Australians believe in "fair go" if we suspect we are not getting a "fair go" then we won't back down. It is the dominant cultural attitude here. It is not fairly applied, but if an aussie suspects someone isn't getting a "fair go" then they will fight.

  6. Sounds like India is coming onboard now…so thats 350M users. Good luck FB. The world watched when FB bared the US president and earlier news stories about the new president, now all the free world got spooked as this can happen to anyone. So they should pay and they should guarantee real news networks a platform otherwise FB can get out of Australia…Also all political parties are onboard with this from the socialist greens to the conservatives.

  7. Breaking News: Facebook has saved millions of Australian citizens from the abusive and rubbish propaganda that the Australians media puts out every day.
The people of Australia are cheering in the streets that there home feeds have been saved and cleared of this toxic influence.

  8. If people have a problem with Facebook privacy and etc and hate it then hate all tech companies. Even the phone maker you’re using right now. If Facebook does it so does all other tech companies. Either accept it and use the platforms to your advantage or GTFO of it. Simple. Only you have control of your life, and god🙏🏻

  9. Seriously? Who actually gives a damn, the whole thing is simply a reaction to my government's doing the biding of the Murdoch media empire

  10. Government -> Hey news guys, we love that you support our agenda through selective reporting, so we'll pay you and ourselves by letting you charge Facebook for the articles that you choose to share on your own Facebook pages – on top of that we'll make them pay if a user decides to link your article and drive traffic to your site that you already subsidise by running your own advertising programs. Also – wink wink let's not mention that we get a cut of those proceeds through taxing your windfall… lets all pat each other on the back.

Facebook -> LOL – NOPE – Let's just see how much traffic and advertising revenues drop on your website and we'll chat again soon.

Facebook has no obligation to show news, it has no obligation to pay for stories that news companies post on their own accord to drive traffic to their own websites so they can collect advertising revenue. A prime example of a government trying to solve an issue that never existed in the first place while also attempting to line the pockets of their friends and get mandatory kickbacks through taxing that reward.

Congrats to Facebook for not giving a free handout to guys who own newspapers who are already billionaires in their own right.

  11. FACT: news links on Facebook INCREASE traffic (and revenue) to news sites. Saying Facebook has ripped off news web sites is untrue. Facebook has increased revenue for these news sites by increasing the number of people that visit those news sites and thus increasing revenue gained by the adverts placed on those news sites. Fizzap agrees with Facebook that this model is not sustainable. The end result of this new law will be less traffic to those new sites because of Facebook's ban thus decreasing revenue to those new web sites. This new law does not help news agencies, it reduces their ability to generate traffic on their sites. See the issue in terms of this individual law not as your overview perception of Facebook in general. This new law does not make sense and negative impacts on news sites not helping them. If you support this law, it means in the future, no web site will be able to afford to host links to news sites whatsoever. Do you want to receive a bill for simply having a new related link on your web site? I do not think so.
