Dude I had a similar experience in mallets bay…i know people already think I’m nuts with my YouTube video on bigfoot but i had photos of something so crazy and serpentine looking on Champlain from about 7 or 8 years ago similar to what you described until my phone took a crap on me and i lost the photos.
