I like the Irish. I like Eire. I like St. Patrick’s Day. I like Guiness.
Seems the Irish (properly, not ALL of them; somebody in Eire in fact) make a chocolate bar referred to as Catch, too.
The simplicity of the package deal makes me consider UK chocolate, which I’m keen on, and thus was semi-pumped to strive the Catch.
Good trying bar. Made me wish to chew into it.
It’s primarily a Crunch Bar on the surface: rice crispies in milk chocolate. On the within is caramel perhaps? It’s not as mushy because the caramel in a Milky Method, nevertheless it’s possible sugar, heated up quite a bit… Let’s name it a dense nougat. The chocolate although – eeks. Pedestrian. There’s nearly no taste right here. It’s very non-descript.
Undecided why you’d exit of your solution to discover and eat this bar. Possibly you’re nostalgic for once you ate them as a child? Possibly you want its girth? It’s a fairly large bar, concerning the dimension of a Child Ruth. Possibly you want normal sweets and don’t care about taste?
These aren’t for me. Once I devour energy, I wish to both get excessive or be wowed. The Catch bar did neither.
