 | You have to set the heater block to well over 200 (on my prusa mk2 I think I have to set it to 260??) before removing the nozzle. you can use a long 0.4 mm drill bit or piano wire (or do what I did and buy a pack of about 200 acupuncture needles for next to nothing). You also need to do this when reinstalling the nozzle. If you decide to go for a non-brass nozzle such as stainless steel then you should increase extruder temps as steel has a different latent heat capacity than brass Comment from : Love Castle |
