   She DID die. They just didn’t immediately update their headline.

   Plus, the first (erroneous) news that got out about this was that her aneurysm killed her. So when that was corrected, it’s likely that CNN just failed to update the URL. Hardly a major fumble, and certainly not “jumping the gun”.
